FAQ

Do I need to remove seals or O-rings before shipping?

No. You may send injectors as removed from the vehicle. Worn seals and O-rings are typically replaced as part of the service when applicable.

Can injector cleaning fix all injector problems?

No. Cleaning removes deposits and restores flow when contamination is the issue. Injectors with internal wear, leakage, or electrical faults may fail testing and require replacement.

How long does the service take?

Turnaround time from receival is typically 1-2 business days for port and GDI, and 4-6 days for BMW and Mercedes Piezo. Return shipping time depends on the carrier and service selected at checkout.

Will you match injectors into sets?

Flow testing identifies injector balance and performance. Matching results are provided so injectors can be grouped appropriately, but exact matching is not guaranteed if injectors vary significantly.

Can I send injectors from different vehicles or engines?

Yes, but results will be reported individually. Injectors from different applications may not be suitable for use together due to flow or design differences.

What happens if an injector fails testing?

If an injector fails testing, cleaning charges still apply. Failed injectors are documented so you can make an informed repair or replacement decision.

Do you test injectors at real operating pressure?

Yes. Port injectors and GDI injectors are tested using equipment appropriate for their operating pressure. Low-pressure testing is not used for GDI injectors.

Is this service suitable for performance or modified vehicles?

Yes. Injector cleaning and testing is often recommended for performance and modified applications, where consistent injector flow is critical.

Do you service marine or powersports injectors?

Yes. Gasoline injectors used in marine, motorcycle, and UTV/ATV applications can be serviced if they are port or GDI gasoline injectors.

Are results guaranteed?

The accuracy of our test results is guaranteed. However, injector performance outcomes are not guaranteed due to factors such as internal wear, leakage, electrical faults, or design limitations beyond the scope of cleaning.
