The Injector Shop is proud to provide Piezo GDI fuel injectors cleaning and testing services for the BMW N54, N63, S63, and N74 engines using the Siemens VDO Piezoelectric GDI injectors.
Testing is performed using precision GDI specific test equipment, not ASNU style port injector benches like the majority of our competition uses. Tests are performed at operational pressures and OEM test plans. Using a port bench to test any GDI injector at WAY lower than operational pressure WILL NOT deliver accurate test results....PERIOD! Especially with the very finicky Piezo injectors.
Piezo GDI Injectors are safely tested in specialized GDI test equipment at operating pressures typically up to 3000 PSI against OEM BMW test plans utilizing precision measuring devices that measure liquid flow on a shot to shot basis, at actual operating pressure. Testing this way allows for precision measurement under operating conditions that can be digitally analyzed against the OEM flow test plans set by the injector manufacturer. NO GUESSWORK. PERIOD!
This is a cleaning and testing service on your supplied injectors. If during the testing phase any injector tests out of tolerance, and this does happen, you will be notified of the failure and given the report that documents where the failure occurred. Sometimes the failure is minimal, and that does not necessarily mean that the injector needs to be replaced. We will evaluate all the tests and make a recommendation based on the holistic look at all individual tests on the specific injector.
Test results are computer generated in very easy to understand color coded results. Individual test results are provided digitally via Dropbox.
An optional add on service, and a very critical component to the proper service of the Piezo BMW fuel injectors is Piezo re-stack, or regeneration. Cost is 10.00 per injector and information can be found here.

This service is intended for index 12 BMW injectors. Index 11 can be done, but no injectors index 10 or below will carry any performance warranty. If you have anything other than index 11 or 12 you are better off replacing your injectors with updated index 12's.
The Injector Shop Piezo GDI cleaning and testing service consists of:
- Removal of compression seal and inlet piping and filter.
- 3-stage heated ultrasonic cleaning
- Pressurized back flush to remove anything left internally after ultrasonic cleaning
- R2LC electrical test for µF
- NLT nozzle leakage test at high pressure (205 BAR/2973 PSI)
- 4 individual volume tests
- Real time oscilloscope testing
- Compression seal
- Inlet micro filter
DON'T SEND IN CHINESE KNOCK OFF INJECTORS:
Please be aware that if you send in non-OEM (Chinese knock off) injectors we will immediately re-package and send them back with refund of service, minus return freight and a handling charge of $20.00. Bottom line is these knock offs are absolute junk, and I will not waste my time or your money testing them……PLEASE DON’T SEND THEM!!

You have the option of purchasing shipping insurance for $2.00 per $100.00 dollars of coverage here. The Injector Shop is not responsible for lost shipments or damage from any shipping provider and will not pay any claims.
New Index 12 injectors are currently over 500.00 each. We highly recommend covering your freight with at minimum 500.00 of coverage PER injector sent in.

- Remove any external grease, oils, and gasoline from injectors than place in seal able plastic bags. We are not responsible for any incoming freight that is leaking or has external fuel odor and rejected/returned by shipper.
- Cylinder numbers can be applied for your records, we do not need them but will sequence our reports to your numbering.
