Mercedes piezo GDI injectors are safely tested in specialized GDI test equipment at operating pressures against OEM Bosch test plans, utilizing precision measuring devices that measure liquid flow on a shot to shot basis at actual operating pressure. Testing this way allows for precision measurement under operating conditions that can be digitally analyzed against the OEM flow test plans set by the injector manufacturer.
We want to ensure that you have a clear understanding of our GDI fuel injector cleaning and testing process, and what you are purchasing. When you choose our service, you are paying for both the cleaning and the testing of your injectors. While we make every effort to restore and improve the performance of your injectors through proper cleaning, there are instances where the testing results may indicate that an injector is still not performing adequately or to a part number flow standard.
In such cases, our policy is that we do not offer refunds for the cleaning and testing services. This is because the fee covers the entire process, including the time, equipment, and resources invested in evaluating and testing the injector.
Sometimes the failure is minimal, and that does not necessarily mean that the injector needs to be replaced. We will evaluate all the tests and make a recommendation based on the holistic look at all individual tests on the specific injector.
Test results are computer generated in very easy to understand color coded results. Individual test results are provided digitally via email.

Important policy note:
There are no refunds for cleaning testing and regeneration services if an injector fails testing. The service fee covers the entire process including equipment time labor and OEM level diagnostics.

Shipping Checklist
- Download and print the service form to include with injectors here:
Customer Intake Service Form - Remove any external grease oils and gasoline from injectors then place in sealable plastic bags
- We are not responsible for incoming freight that is leaking or has external fuel odor and is rejected or returned by the shipper
- Wrap and protect the nozzle tips and the electrical connector. These components are fragile and must be protected
- Cylinder numbers can be applied for your records. We do not need them but will sequence our reports to your numbering
Current Turnaround Time
Piezo injectors are cleaned and tested individually which drives the turnaround time. Current turnaround is 4 to 6 business days from the time your injectors are received.
Injectors Abandoned and Unpaid
Any and all fuel injectors abandoned with us for a period longer than 30 calendar days, and the service requested is not paid for, will become the property of The Injector Shop.
