About Us

Thank you for stopping by. My name is Scott Fleenor and I am the owner of The Injector Shop located in Snohomish Washington, and I welcome you to my website.

First let me start by telling you a little about myself. I have been married to my beautiful wife Melissa for over 20 years and we have 3 kids, 2 dogs, at least 12 chickens at any time, ponds and aquariums full of fish, and a Crested Gecko, which keeps us very busy as you might expect.

I have been in the fuel systems rebuilding business since 1989 when I opened Evergreen Carburetor in August of that year. I specialized in rebuilding domestic and import automotive carburetors, as well as becoming a local market leader in marine carburetor rebuilding and performance Holley tuning. I have rebuilt tens of 1000’s of carburetors from around the world as well as built and tuned Holley fuel systems for some of NHRA’s local stars.

It was shortly after opening Evergreen Carburetors that I also offered fuel injection flow testing, cleaning, and rebuilding of gasoline fuel injectors. In fact I was the first shop in greater Seattle area (and I believe the state) to incorporate a fuel injection flow bench into the business. The first flow/cleaning machine I bought was a GB New Age machine followed by 2 ASNU machines. We literally wore our first machines out with the volume of injectors we were doing.

All of this came to a bit of an end in 2006 when I decided to fulfill a desire of mine. As a mechanic for most if not all of my adult life I always wanted to build airplanes. From the time I flew in my first Boeing 707 I was enamored with airplanes. Growing up in the Puget Sound area I happened to grow up in the backyard of guess who….Boeing. So with the decline in carburetor rebuilding in the 2000’s I decided to formally shut down Evergreen Carburetors and go to work for Boeing and build airplanes. I was hired as a composite mechanic and went to work on the 787 program where I was a heavy structures mechanic that was assigned to the empennage. For you non propeller heads the empennage is the back of the airplane, the horizontal and vertical stabilizers.

I have been at Boeing ever since 2006 but have always kept busy with local injection and carburetor parts sales as a side business. This year I have decided to become more involved in the fuel systems business as I look to retirement from the Boeing Company. I am no longer the young buck, the spring chicken, the strapping young man that I used to be so working on the main line as a heavy structures mechanic is no longer an option, and I really can’t stand office work, so back to my beginnings I go.

***UPDATE***
As of December 4th 2020 I have retired from the Boeing Company and am concentrating my efforts full time at The Injector Shop. I spent 15 years in one of the coolest places in the world, building and teaching people to build some of the coolest products in the world, but it is time to leave the corporate world. Look for more products and services to be available as we look into the future.

My business goal is to make money by providing you with quality fuel injector components and service at a fair price. I will never sell a part that I would not use myself, and I back my parts up with a 1 year warranty and a 90 day return policy if you are not happy with anything.

Please look around and if there is anything that I can help answer please reach out to me via the email link at the bottom of the page. Thanks again for stopping by!!
