Making a Shift: Why We're Saying Goodbye to USPS for International Shipping

In the ever-evolving landscape of global commerce, efficient and reliable international shipping is crucial for businesses to thrive. As an e-commerce store committed to providing exceptional service to our customers worldwide, we have always strived to choose shipping partners that align with our commitment to reliability and prompt deliveries. However, after careful consideration and a series of unfortunate incidents, we have made the tough decision to discontinue the use of USPS for international shipping – with the exception of Canada.

This decision has not been made lightly, and we understand the inconvenience it may cause to our valued customers. We want to take a moment to explain the factors that led to this shift in our shipping strategy and reassure you that our priority remains delivering your orders in a timely and secure manner.

Over the past few months, we have encountered a growing number of challenges when utilizing USPS for international shipments. These challenges primarily revolve around package loss and significant delays in shipping times. While we understand that occasional hiccups are inevitable in the shipping industry, the frequency and severity of these issues have reached a point where we can no longer ignore the impact on both our customers and our business.

Package loss is a significant concern, as it not only results in financial losses for our company but also leads to frustration and disappointment for our customers. Despite our best efforts to resolve these issues with USPS, the recurrence of lost packages has compelled us to seek more reliable alternatives to maintain the trust our customers place in us.

Equally troubling are the delays in shipping times that have become a consistent problem with USPS. Prolonged shipping durations not only inconvenience our customers but also affect our ability to provide accurate delivery estimates. We understand the importance of timely deliveries, especially in the e-commerce industry, where customer satisfaction hinges on the efficiency of the shipping process.

In light of these challenges, we have chosen to partner exclusively with UPS for all international shipments, with the exception of Canada. UPS has a proven track record of reliability, offering a comprehensive global network and advanced tracking capabilities. While we acknowledge that UPS may come with a slightly higher price tag, the trade-off in terms of reliability and customer satisfaction is well worth it.

To our Canadian customers, rest assured that we have found USPS to be comparatively more reliable for shipments within North America. Therefore, we will continue to use USPS for shipping to Canada, where we have experienced fewer issues and more consistent service. UPS options will also still be available.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause and want to assure our customers that this decision was not made lightly. We believe that this shift to UPS for international shipping, excluding Canada, will ultimately enhance the overall customer experience by reducing package loss and ensuring more predictable shipping times.

At the heart of our business is a commitment to delivering quality products to your doorstep, and we believe this strategic shift in our shipping approach will help us achieve that goal more effectively. Thank you for your understanding, and we appreciate your continued support as we navigate these changes for the betterment of our shipping services.
