Installing a replacement retainer can be a frustrating job, so we designed our own solution.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe \u003cstrong\u003eBosch \/ Denso Upper O-Ring Retainer Installation Tool\u003c\/strong\u003e was \u003cstrong\u003edesigned, tested, and is produced in-house at The Injector Shop\u003c\/strong\u003e to make installation of these retainers easier and more controlled.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe two-piece tool consists of a \u003cstrong\u003etapered locator\u003c\/strong\u003e and \u003cstrong\u003einstallation die\u003c\/strong\u003e. The locator centers in the injector fuel inlet and gradually expands the new plastic retainer as it moves down the taper. The installation die slides over the locator, allowing smooth, controlled pressure to seat the retainer into its proper position.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eDesigned in-house.
